About Autoflowering
What is Autoflowering?
Autoflowering plants are compact and are very easy to grow, as they don’t
need a trigger to flower, they pass more or less directly from the seedling to
the flowering stage on their own. In other words, you plant a seed, it sprouts,
grows a couple sets of leaves, then automatically begins flowering
(at 3 to 4 weeks). When planted in the spring, autoflowering plants will produce
ripe bud earlier than any non-autoflowering variety. It’s that simple.
The Joint Doctor’s strains are very easy to grow, always finishing within a fixed
time period, and are simply the quickest and most compact plants available.
With autoflowering, no change in the photoperiod is necessary to induce flowering,
so you need no separate cloning or vegetative growing areas. Multiple or off-season
harvests are possible in warmer areas, as well as multi-level indoor set-ups.
Indoors, autoflowering plants eliminate the need to induce flowering by
reduction of day-light hours. They will grow consistently well and finish
under 12, 18 or even 24 hours of light. It is no longer necessary to have
seperate vegetative and flowering spaces and timers. Outdoors, plants can
easily be kept concealed because of their small size and early flowering,
whether planted in fields, in gardens, on patios or even on windowsills.

Ideal for the home grower or backyard enthusiast, or guerrilla gardener, looking
for a quick turnover. Very reliable for early outdoor production, and especially
useful in areas with short growing seasons.
Our plants go through a seedling stage lasting 3-4 weeks from emergence, at which
time they start showing their sex and begin to bloom. The subsequent flowering
time varies from 4 weeks (Betty Boo) to 6 weeks for maturity (Maxi).
